Luxury Real Estate PropertiesBarry J. Olfern is a graduate of Florida International University in Miami Florida. There his studies included International Business and Finance as well as Sales and Marketing. He successfully acquired his Series 7 & 63 license in 1990 as a Financial Advisor for Morgan Stanley including Series 65 designation of Register Investment Advisor, Series 9 & 10 for the NYSE Branch Mangers supervision of branch activities. Additional licenses obtained Life Health & Variable Annuity 2-15 state of Florida. While working for Morgan Stanley from 1990- 2005, Barry successfully managed and implemented various diversified portfolios for the Ultra-High Net Worth Client, initiated a Sales Training and Recruiting program in the Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach Complex, becoming Senior Vice President and Branch Manager for Hallandale Beach and later Aventura Florida Branch. Barry completed his management training for Morgan Stanley by attending a three year program for Senior Branch Managers at The Wharton School of Business. One of his desires was to break into the International Luxury Resort Real Estate market so in 2005 Barry left Morgan Stanley and formed Barry Olfern and Associates, Inc. where he partnered with Michael Saunders & Company International LLC, division in the Dominican Republic. Utilizing the knowledge gained from his schooling at Wharton and being a strong proponent of diversification of one's portfolio; whether it stocks, bonds or real estate; Barry advised his clients to diversify their real estate holding by adding an International component, as the US market seemed to be showing signs of topping. In 2007, Barry was hired by Legacy International Group as Country Sales Manager of the Dominican Republic to hire, train and to develop and implement the Founders Program for LIG's newest eco-chic luxury resort, Terrazas de Coson, one of the Caribbean's most exclusive resorts. Barry is a licensed Florida REALTOR Associate with Related Cervera Realty Services. Related Cervera Realty Services (RCRS) is a partnership between visionary developer Jorge Perez and Cervera Lamadrid.
